Why we do what we do:
 
At the core of our mission, is a belief that the arts can fuel our imagination, encourage our personal growth and help unite individuals and communities.  Yet, the richness of the arts is often considered a luxury. By bringing stripped-down, high quality, energetic performances to those who have little or no access we hope to break down that misconception and provide opportunities for a broader cultural exchange.

We work with professional artists to create programs that maintain a high quality at a low cost and tour these programs for free to homeless shelters, detention centers, nursing homes, hospitals and other places in the Washington, DC area where the arts might be tough to come by due to sociological, economic or other unexpected life reasons. With each program we look for ways in which we can engage and learn from those we are playing for.
